Jack 'N Tool Box, Inc. is a licensed, full service General Building Contractor serving Santa Barbara and the Tri-Counties. The company was founded in 1987 by Jack Byers after returning from a career overseas managing large sub sea construction projects. The company was started by providing maintenance and repair services and has steadily grown over the years to perform all facets of residential and commercial building construction. Jack 'N Tool Box, Inc. currently employs 20 people, comprised of 5 office and supervisory staff and 15 field personnel. Field personnel are comprised of skilled craftsman in a variety of trades, including: rough and finish carpentry, tile, stone, drywall and painting. Most of the company’s key personnel have been with the company for over 10 years. The company’s professional memberships include: Santa Barbara Contractor’s Association, Association of Construction Inspectors, National Kitchen and Bath Association, Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce and Santa Barbara Better Business Bureau.

We remodeled our kitchen, and part of the living room to turn it into a great room and an open floor plan. Ed and Kate from Jack 'N Tool Box were professional, courteous and they bent over backwards to make sure that we were satisfied with the work that was done. Ed came out several times after the project was finished to discuss other options I was interested in (like adding attic space above the garage) and fixing small things and he didn't charge me for those visits. So I was very impressed with their dedication.
